Jacob is a team worker who believes that with dedication and commitment nothing is impossible to achieve. He graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa with a doctorate degree in Media Studies. Prior to his current assignment at the University of Cape Coast, he taught at Takoradi Technical University and Regent University College of Science and Technology, all based in Ghana. Jacob has taught courses in media planning, corporate/strategic communications, web design, research, academic writing among others. He is a mixed-researcher with emphasis on qualitative explorations. He has published in global scholarly journals on the state of the Ghanaian media: freedoms, expression and development, ethics, effects, funding, political economy, terror reporting and authored a book on research.
