Dr. Yahaya is a lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology, and contributes immensely to the professional training of both basic and clinical students of the College of Health and Allied Sciences. He holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Pretoria (South Africa), and an MPhil from the University of Ghana. He has numerous peer-reviewed publications, and has presented at various National and International Conferences, including the 18th edition of the World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology in Kyoto (Japan). His research interests include the search for novel medications from ethnomedicinal sources, with particular interest in non-healing wounds and infectious diseases.
