Dr. Esther Eshun Oppong

Esther Eshun Oppong is a trained pharmacist with an M.Phil and a PhD in Pharmaceutics from KNUST. Currently, a member of faculty in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Cape Coast. My main research interests include medicinal plant/natural product formulation and dose standardization, natural pharmaceutical excipient development, polymer based drug delivery systems development and evaluation. I has vast experience in developing and evaluating natural polymers as well as modifying these polymers for pharamaceutical use. Dr. Eshun Oppong has contributed over the last eight years to the training of pharmacist in the country through active undergraduate teaching, demonstration of scholarship through engagement in high quality research, publication and international collaborations with several peer-reviewed scholarly publication in reputable journals to my credit. I am a member of several professional bodies including academic and research pharmacist association of Ghana (ARSPA), international federation of pharmacist (FIP), OSWD and the community pharmacist association of Ghana (CPPA).
