Ellis E. Eghan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) and is currently a Lecturer at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), where he teaches courses in software engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, and research methods.

Ellis Eghan has currently authored several refereed publications in top software engineering conferences and journals such as JSS, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, ICSME, and ICSE. He has also served as a reviewer in several reputable peer-reviewed journals and conferences (e.g., JSS, IST journal). His research interests revolve around topics such as knowledge graphs and explainable AI (XAI), software engineering for AI (SE4AI), NLP, and release engineering. In addition to his teaching and research roles, Ellis Eghan serves as a chief examiner and an ICT item writer for UCC's colleges of education. He is also a member of the UCC institutional affiliation monitoring team, as well as a course tutor on the UCC postgraduate distance education program.
