About

Dr. Christopher Kwame Filson joined the University of Cape Coast as an Assistant Librarian on 9th January, 2012. Currently, he is the Deputy University Librarian of the University of Cape Coast Library System (UCCLS). Prior to occupying this position, he doubled as the Head of Department for the Department of Collection Management and Technical Services (DCMTS), and the Acquisition, Preservation and Curriculum Analysis Librarian of the UCCLS. In addition to his current role in the Library, he also teaches Information Literacy Skills, one of the university-wide courses under the faculty of Arts.  He was the Coordination of the Information Literacy Skills Unit from August 2017 to July, 2019.
