Charles Kweku Obimpeh is a dedicated and passionate sports teacher and coach with more than 15 years of experience in sports administration, teaching, and the development of athletes. He is a Principal Sports Coach at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and serves as a Demonstrator and Teaching Assistant to the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation.

Charles has developed an excellent reputation for leadership, teamwork, and the ability to get the best out of others over a long period of service. He has coached and led several university teams to success, graduating student-athletes in skill, confidence, and discipline. His coaching experience cuts across a range of sports from football, handball to hockey and badminton. His CAF License 'B' reflects the breadth of his knowledge of developing players and developing tactics in football.

In addition to his role as a coach, Charles is the UCC Youngsters Football Club's Administrator and Technical Secretary, where he coordinates the operations of the club, identification and development of talented players, and participation in national competitions. He also utilizes his influence in national sports organizations such as the Ghana Universities Sports Association (GUSA) where he helps with local and foreign competitions.

Charles holds Bachelor and Master of Education degrees in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from the University of Cape Coast. He has also broadened his professional expertise through specialized training with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Ghana Football Association, and Indiana University in the USA.

Driven by an enduring belief in serving youth to empower their lives through the power of sports, Charles is committed to empowering youth to achieve their potential on and off the field. His love, commitment, and genuine concern for his athletes continue to inspire those he coaches and works with.
