Dr. Benedict Afful Jr, a Lecturer in Economics, obtained his PhD and MPhil in Economics from the University of Cape Coast where he has considerably taught, and research. He also has a Diploma in Project Management from Institute of Commercial Management, UK, certificate in Research Ethics Training Curriculum, fhi 360, U.S., and certificate in Cost Analysis in Education, UNESCO and International Institute for Educational Planning.
Dr. Benedict Afful Jr has considerable relevant working experience in data collection, data management and report writing coupled with a very proficient knowledge and use of analytical softwares like STATA, Eviews, SPSS and Excel. In the past, Dr. Afful has worked with Ghana Statistical Service, Electoral Commission of Ghana, IFPRI, ILO, UNICEF, University of Development Studies and Department of Economics, University of Cape Coast.
Dr. Benedict Afful Jr’s research interests include Agricultural Economics, Technology and Innovation, Education, Poverty studies, and Information Economics.
