About

Dr. Alex Kwao is a senior lecturer at the Department of Basic Education, University of Cape Coast, of the Faculty of Educational Foundations, of the College of Education Studies. He is a distinguished scholar of the University of Cape Coast with over ten(10) years teaching experience. He is a British/ American trained expert in Educational Policy and Management. He is an authorized member of the Spencer Foundations of the U.S.A and a research Fellow of the University of South Florida.

Dr Alex Kwao is a gender activist and also a member of Woman Four Resource of Cardiff and a resource person of the Welesh Government Assembly.

He was instrumental in the funded project by the University of Cape Coast and the University of South Florida. Dr Alex Kwao has outstanding intellectual publication record in international indexed journals to understand qualitative research methodology and contemporary issues in education policy and management and Social Studies.

He has published several articles in internationally reputable peer reviewed journals. He serves as external examiner for postgraduate theses (PhD and Master's) from Ghana, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Nigeria.

Along his line of duty as lecturer at the University of Cape Coast, Dr. Alex Kwao contributes to work of the University of Cape Coast Boards and Committees.

Dr. Alex Kwao is a Chief Examiner at the Institute of Education, and the College of Distance Education(CoDE), all of the University of Cape Coast.

He is also a curriculum designer for Christ Apostolic University and the Atlantic International University (AIU) in the United State. Currently, Dr. Alex Kwao supervises local and International postgraduate thesis in a Education and Social Studies.
