Dr. (Mrs.) Abigail Opoku Mensah is a senior lecturer and a former Head: Department of Management, School of Business in the University of Cape Coast. She holds BA and MPhil in Psychology. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology with specialization in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from University of Ghana, Legon. She is the Current Board chairperson of University of Cape Coast Basic School Governing Committee, Senior Hall Tutor of the only Female hall (Adehye Hall) and Co-coordinator of the University-wide Leadership Certification programme for Graduate Students which is a collaboration project between UCC and University at Buffalo, USA. She serves on a number of boards and committees at UCC. Dr. Abigail Opoku Mensah has presented academic papers at several international and local conferences. She is a member of the Ghana Psychology Council, International Federation of University Women (IFUW, Geneva) and Work-Family Researchers Network (U.S.A). Her areas of research interest include Workplace Diversity and Knowledge Management, Organizational design, efficiency and effectiveness, Management (Entrepreneurship) Work-family conflict and social issues in Management. Some of her academic works have been published in reputable journals such as: Journal of Enterprising Communities: People and Places in the Global Economy, International Journal of Business and Small Enterprise Development, International Journal of Research Studies in Management, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Education and Sage Open. Her teaching areas are: Organizational Behaviour, Management and organizational Behaviour, Managing Organizations, Business Communications, Industrial relations, Business Ethics, Consumer Bahaviour and Strategic Human Resource Management at the graduate and undergraduate level.
